Low-cellularity CSF, effusions and FNA rinses need high cell recovery more than batch size. This processor uses density gradient or differential spinning at 200–3000 rpm, finishing in about 5–20 min from as little as 0.2–1 mL. Cells are concentrated into a 6–13 mm spot on a standard slide.
