Conical Centrifuge Tube

Cell pellets, culture harvests and media preparation call for larger tubes with a conical base. These come in 15, 50 or 250 mL, in polypropylene or polystyrene, good for 3000–12,000 × g. Fill to about 80 % of nominal volume; screw caps can include a sealing ring, and gamma-treated sterile packs are optional.
