A CRS test produces a continuous compression curve in one or two days instead of a week. This system strains a 63.5 mm specimen at 0.0001 to 1 mm/min under back pressure to 1 MPa, measuring base pore pressure to 0.1 kPa. The software calculates effective stress, Cv and mv in real time.
