This benchtop analyzer fires diesel into a chamber at about 545 °C and 2.1 MPa air pressure, then derives DCN 33–64 from ignition timing under ASTM D6890, D7668 and EN 15195. A run takes about 20 min on 30–100 mL of sample, with 15 preconditioning and 32 measurement injections.
