Pigmented, turbid or dye-sensitive suspensions are where an impedance counter earns its place. Cells pass an aperture in isotonic saline and each pulse gives both a count and a volume, at resolution near 0.5 fL. Choose from 20, 50, 100, 140 and 200 µm apertures to cover yeast, algae or large mammalian cells.
