Microalgae, cyanobacteria and carbon fixation research need controlled light as much as temperature and CO2. This photobioreactor uses 400–700 nm LED panels or tubes, adjustable from 50 to 2,000 µmol/m²/s with a programmable 0–24 h photoperiod. Volumes run 0.5–50 L; 0.5–5% CO2 is sparged and also controls pH to ±0.05.
