Safety officers, facility managers and teachers carrying out lighting surveys need a simple, accurate meter. This handheld unit auto-ranges across 0–200,000 lx with ±3% accuracy and 0.1 lx resolution on its low range. A photopic filter and cosine correction keep readings true to the eye at any angle. It runs on a 9 V battery.
