At the donor chair, a handheld wand lets staff seal the line without moving the bag. The 200–500 g handpiece seals 3–9 mm tubing in 1–3 s at 27.12 MHz, with spring-fixed jaw pressure and audible plus LED confirmation. Power comes from a base generator or rechargeable battery via a 1.5–2 m cable.
