Research into column separation, unsteady friction and transient leak detection needs long, rigid pipe and very fast data. This rig uses 120 m of anchored 22 mm copper fed from a pressure vessel regulated to 1 MPa. Eight 0–5 MPa dynamic transducers sample at 100 kHz, with a ±0.1 % Coriolis meter and three column separation test points.
