Long reads are only as long as the DNA you load, so gentle library preparation matters. This system works from 100 ng–1 µg of high molecular weight DNA, ideally over 50 kb, delivering typical reads of 10 kb–100 kb. Rapid kits take about 10–60 min, ligation kits 2–4 h, with no PCR for native workflows and up to 24 barcoded samples.
