When oven drying takes too long and a capacitance reading is too coarse, microwave drying fills the gap. Load 50–300 g of seed, set power between 300 and 1000 W, and the integrated balance reports moisture after 2–10 min, stopping automatically on weight change. Each species is calibrated against the oven method. Suitable for warehouse and laboratory use.
