A workcell is the step between standalone analyzers and a full track: two to four analyzers share middleware and one LIS connection. Combined capacity is 120–240 samples/h, work is balanced by rules and the system fails over automatically if a module stops. Two analyzers with loaders fit in 3–5 m², and QC charts combine across modules.
