1536-well screening needs microliter drops placed quickly without touching wells. Pressure-driven solenoid microvalves on 8–32 channels deliver 0.5–50 µL, filling a 1536-well plate in less than a minute. Operating pressure is 0.1–3 bar, dead volume stays under 300 µL, and precision is 2–5% CV from 1 µL.
