Ores, coal, anisotropic metal phases and coatings are opaque, so they must be examined in reflected polarized light. This microscope offers 50×–1000× with strain-free plan objectives and reflected brightfield, darkfield and polarized modes. A 360° rotating stage graduated in 1° steps and crosshair eyepiece support orientation work.
