Waterproof concrete grades are set by the highest pressure a set of six specimens resists. This apparatus tests six tapered Ø 175 / 185 × 150 mm specimens at up to 4.0 MPa, pressurised by an electric plunger pump and read on a 0–6 MPa gauge. Each station has its own shut-off valve, so a leaking specimen can be isolated.
