This analyzer uses a ring or tubular metal heater that lasts several years without lamp changes, reaching 105 °C in about 3–5 min over a 40–200 °C range. Readability is 1 mg, 0.1 mg optional. Repeatability on 5 g is about 0.05–0.15%.
