Rebound deflection under a standard axle load is still the simplest way to judge the bearing capacity of a flexible pavement and plan overlays. We supply standard 3.6 m dial-gauge beams, long 5.4 m beams for semi-rigid bases, digital and wireless dual-beam versions, and a folding aluminium beam for easy transport. Beam length, reading method and the number of test points per day decide the choice. The measurement procedure follows ASTM D4695 and AASHTO T 256.
