Salt deposits on a facing wall are expensive to fix after construction, so efflorescence is checked before dispatch. The set gives 10 stainless trays of 300 × 200 × 40 mm, each holding one brick on end in 25 mm of water under a glass cover. Two wet-dry cycles of about 7 days each are run at 20–30 °C before the deposit is rated.
