Absorption, efflorescence and dimensional tolerance decide whether a batch of bricks will weather well and lay true in the wall. We supply boiling tanks for 5-hour and 24-hour absorption, efflorescence trays, dimension and warpage gauges, initial rate of absorption sets and surface grinders for preparing unit bearing faces. Your standard, unit size and daily sample count decide the set. Most kilns we equip test to IS 3495, while export plants add ASTM C67 and the BS EN 772 series.

How to specify

Size the boiling tank to hold a full sample lot of bricks with water covering them throughout the boil.
Run efflorescence trays in a draught-free room so evaporation stays even across all specimens.
Check whether your standard measures 20 bricks together or each unit separately before ordering gauges.
