Thick tissue, 3D cell models and colocalisation studies need optical sectioning that widefield cannot provide. This confocal system offers 405, 488, 561 and 640 nm lasers, PMT and GaAsP detectors and an adjustable pinhole. Images reach 4096 × 4096 pixels with Z-steps from 0.1 µm, at up to 4 frames per second. A motorised XYZ stage is included.
