Fine soils are tested in small density bottles so that air can be removed fully from a few grams of soil. This set has six 50 mL borosilicate bottles with capillary-bore ground glass stoppers, for 5–10 g samples passing 2 mm. A wash bottle, funnel and drying rack come with it.
