Production floors and small labs checking thickness by hand need something simple, accurate and cheap to run. This gauge reads 0–25 mm at 0.01 mm resolution with a gentle measuring force of about 1 N, powered by a button cell. A USB or RS-232 output can be added if you want data logged.
