The double hydrometer test compares clay content with and without chemical dispersant to give a percent dispersion. This set has two 152H hydrometers, four 1000 mL cylinders, a high-speed stirrer and a vacuum flask for the non-dispersed run. The result is reported as percent dispersion at 5 µm.
