Method development for recombinant proteins and antibodies usually starts on a compact FPLC. This system pumps 0.1–20 mL/min at about 2–5 MPa by model, with ±1% gradient accuracy, UV at 280 nm (214 and 260 nm selectable) and 0.01–100 mS/cm conductivity. It suits columns of about 1–50 mL, with interchangeable 0.5–50 mL loops and up to 96 fractions.
