Granite, quartzite and large-diameter core can exceed the capacity of a standard tester. This four-column frame applies up to 100 kN with a two-speed hand pump and reads at 0.01 kN with peak hold. The 0–120 mm jaw gap accepts core up to 110 mm and blocks up to 120 mm, and a safety screen contains fragments.
