Hard rock, quartz ore and drill core usually meet this machine first. It accepts 50–100 mm feed through feed openings between 60 × 100 mm and 200 × 150 mm and reduces it at about 4–6 to 1, giving 2–20 mm product at 100–500 kg/h. Motors run 1.5–5.5 kW on three-phase 380 V.
