Sintered filters, ceramic foams and battery separators are dominated by large pores, so a full high-pressure system is unnecessary. This low-pressure mercury porosimeter works to 0.2 MPa, covering 7–400 µm pores with 0.1 µL resolution. Vacuum reaches 50 µmHg or better, and a run takes 20–40 min on samples up to 15 mL.
