ASTM C1437 asks for 25 drops in 15 s, which is hard to hold steady by hand. This motorised table drives a 255 ± 2.5 mm top through a 12.7 ± 0.13 mm drop with a 60 W gear motor at exactly that rate. A digital counter presets 1–99 drops and stops the table automatically.
