Every UCS, triaxial or Brazilian specimen starts with a square cut to the right length. This saw uses a 400 mm diamond blade at 1450 rpm driven by a 3 kW motor, taking core up to 150 mm diameter. A V-block clamp with length stop sits on a sliding carriage, and a 60 L tank recirculates cooling water.
