European low-heat cements are classified by heat released at 41 hours using the Langavant method. Each insulated bottle holds a 1575 ± 1 g mortar sample, has a heat loss coefficient below 100 J/(h·K) and is monitored by a Pt100 sensor at 0.01 °C. Two test channels and one reference run for up to 120 h.
