Dry ice supply and manual rate control are the weak points of the classic Fraass test. This tester cools to -40 °C by compressor at an automatic 1 °C/min and bends the plate by motor once per minute. The operator watches for the crack and presses a key to capture the temperature at 0.1 °C.
