Timber Small Clear Specimen Fixture Set ASTM D143

Forest research institutes and universities test small clear wood specimens to build strength data for each species. This set fits a 50–100 kN universal machine with static bending supports at 710 mm and 360 mm spans, compression, shear block, cleavage and tension fixtures. An LVDT deflectometer yoke with 25 mm travel reads mid-span deflection to 0.001 mm for modulus of elasticity.
