Most tile plants run crazing tests on a standard 300 × 300 mm specimen set every shift. This 50 L vertical vessel holds 5 tiles of that size on a stainless rack and reaches 500 ±20 kPa in about 45 minutes with 4.5 kW of heating. The quick-opening lid is interlocked, so it cannot be released while the chamber is under pressure.

The quick-opening lid is interlocked, so it cannot be released while the chamber is under pressure.
