Orifices and weirs are the simplest flow-measuring structures in irrigation and drainage, and students must know their discharge coefficients well. We supply a bench-top free jet orifice unit, a bench-top weir set with rectangular and V-notch plates, a self-contained notch tank with hook gauge, a falling-head orifice and mouthpiece apparatus and a digital notch unit with ultrasonic level sensing. Supply method, plate types and how you read head will guide the choice. Notch plates are made to the profiles in ISO 1438 and BS 3680-4A, and orifice work links to ISO 5167-2.
