Delaminations, honeycombing, voids in grouted ducts and defects in piles are hidden from view and often reachable from one face only. Impact-echo and related stress-wave methods find them using a small impact and a sensitive receiver. We supply single-point impact-echo testers, rolling scanners, impulse response systems, low-strain pile integrity testers and grouting compactness testers for post-tensioned ducts. Member thickness, defect type and the area to be covered decide the choice. Thickness testing follows ASTM C1383, and pile work is done to ASTM D5882.
