High-purity, reactive or heat-sensitive minerals should never meet a steel ball. In this air-jet mill, particles collide with each other in a 0.6–1.0 MPa gas stream, and a classifier up to 12,000 rpm sets cuts of 1–50 µm. Feed must be dry and ≤ 1 mm. Choose air or nitrogen and a ceramic-lined or stainless chamber.
