Refinery batch release, crude oil intake and storage checks all hinge on acid and peroxide value. Electrode endpoints make this titrator objective even on dark or cloudy oils. It covers acid value 0.05–50 mg KOH/g and peroxide value 0.1–100 meq O2/kg on 1–20 g samples, using a 10 mL or 20 mL burette at 1/20,000 resolution.
