Most paving bitumen specifications ask for ductility at 25 °C. This 1500 mm tester pulls three specimens at 5 cm/min ± 0.25 cm/min in an insulated stainless steel bath held at ± 0.1 °C, with a digital length readout to 0.1 cm. Three brass moulds with base plates are supplied, and a 1 cm/min speed is optional.
