Ductility shows whether a binder will stretch or snap under traffic and temperature change. Our testers include a standard 1500 mm digital ductilometer, a refrigerated low-temperature model, a compact 1000 mm unit, a variable-speed research machine and spare brass mould sets. Test temperature, maximum elongation and how many specimens you pull at once decide the choice. Machines pull at 5 cm/min as set out in ASTM D113 and IS 1208, and the AASHTO T 51 water-bath arrangement is followed throughout.
