This lab permeameter takes 100 or 150 mm specimens 25–80 mm thick, sealed in a latex membrane under 0–100 kPa confining pressure. Water falls from 500 to 100 mm in a 31.75 mm graduated glass standpipe, giving permeability in cm/s.
