Lateral Torsional Buckling Apparatus for Cantilever Beams
悬臂梁侧向扭转屈曲试验装置
Unrestrained beams can fail by twisting sideways long before they yield, and this rig shows why load height and restraint matter. Aluminium strip cantilevers from 400 to 1000 mm are loaded with up to 100 N at the top flange, centroid or bottom flange. A 0.01 mm dial gauge reads lateral movement while a pointer measures twist in 0.5° divisions.
