Porous tiles and sheets must not let water drip through to the roof space under standing water. The rig tests 6 specimens up to 600 × 400 mm under a constant head adjustable from 10 to 250 mm, each sealed in a gasketed frame. Mirrors under every position let operators spot drips without disturbing the specimen, timed up to 99 h.
