This servo-hydraulic frame loads sheets up to 1200 mm wide to 20 kN at ±1% over a 600–1500 mm span, using a full-width felted beam. Deflection is read to 0.01 mm, and the rate is set to break the specimen in 10–30 s as the standards specify.
