Small batches that need fast cycling and identical optics for every tube suit a rotor design. Tubes (36, 72 or 100 in 0.1/0.2 mL strips) spin at about 400 rpm in air heated and cooled at 10–15 °C/s. Uniformity is ±0.25 °C across 35–99 °C, with 4 to 6 LED-excited channels and 10–25 µL reactions.
