Pad caps let a lab test cylinders straight from curing without melting sulphur or waiting for caps to harden. The set has two steel retainers in each of Ø 100 and 150 mm sizes, with 13 mm neoprene pads in Shore A 50, 60 and 70. Together the hardnesses cover about 10–85 MPa, following ASTM C1231.
