Pavement and fibre-concrete work depends on flexural prisms with true, flat faces. This bolted steel mould casts 150 × 150 × 550 mm beams with ground inner faces flat within 0.05 mm and width and depth held to ±0.2 mm. A 100 × 100 × 400 mm version is available for smaller aggregate.
