A strength result is only as good as the specimen, and a mould that is out of square or leaks paste will lower it before the press ever sees it. We supply cast iron cube moulds, multi-gang plastic cube moulds, split steel cylinder moulds, single-use plastic cylinder moulds and steel beam moulds for flexural prisms. Specimen size, how many moulds circulate each day and whether they return from site decide the material. Dimensional tolerances follow BS EN 12390-1, while cylinder moulds meet ASTM C470.
