Excessive bleeding weakens the top surface of slabs, delays finishing and leaves voids under reinforcement, so mixes and admixtures are screened for it. We supply the ASTM bleeding container, a compact 5 L bleeding cylinder set, a pressure bleeding apparatus for pumped concrete, a vibrated-method set and a kit with digital balance and timer. Your standard, whether the concrete will be pumped and how many tests you run decide the choice. Containers and procedures follow ASTM C232, AASHTO T 158 and BS EN 480-4.
