Setting time tells a contractor when to finish slabs, when to saw joints and whether a retarder or accelerator is doing its job. We offer a hand-operated spring penetrometer, a digital penetration resistance tester, an automatic single-station tester, a multi-station automatic system for unattended runs and a wet-sieving set for preparing the mortar sample. Number of mixes, whether staff can attend over many hours and reporting needs decide the choice. Needle areas and procedures follow ASTM C403, AASHTO T 197 and IS 8142.
