Chloride ingress drives reinforcement corrosion in bridges, car parks and marine structures, so durability specifications set limits on how easily concrete lets chlorides through. We offer four- and eight-channel RCPT systems, a rapid chloride migration tester, a vacuum saturation apparatus for specimen conditioning and an immersion tank set for long-term bulk diffusion tests. The method in your specification and the number of specimens per week decide the choice. Our systems are built for ASTM C1202, AASHTO T 277 and ASTM C1556.

How to specify
- Specimens must be vacuum saturated before RCPT; budget for the saturation apparatus too.
- Pick enough channels to run a full set of specimens in one 6-hour test.
- Rapid electrical tests suit routine QC; long-term diffusion tests give the coefficient that service-life models need.
